Type of roles
Moderator
✅ You can create Book Clubs.
✅ You can edit and moderate your Book Clubs.
✅ You can assign collaborators to your Book Clubs.
❌ You cannot give moderator or administrator role permission to other users.
❌ You cannot edit other moderators’ Book Clubs.
Collaborator
✅ You can edit and moderate a Book Club if you have been assigned as a contributor to it.
❌ You cannot create new Book Clubs.
❌ You cannot assign permissions of any kind to any user.
Administrator
✅ You can create Book Clubs.
✅ You can edit and moderate all existing Book Clubs, both, yours and other creator users.
✅ You can assign collaborators to your Book Clubs.
✅ You can manage the roles and permissions of all users.
Important: Most platform users are not assigned any of these 3 roles. The digital library user corresponds to users who will be able to learn and join the Clubs, but will not have access to edit or create them. To assign one of these 3 roles that can manage Book Clubs you must contact the project manager at your institution.
