 1. Which devices can I access the content from?

You can enjoy digital content through the browser from your computer or from mobile devices or tablets through the app.

 

2. How to access the Learning Ecosystem through mobile devices?

If your institution has a mobile app download option, you will find direct download buttons at the bottom of the Learning Ecosystem.

Download the application to access from smartphone or tablet. From the App you can enjoy the content without an internet connection.

To access your content without an Internet connection, follow these steps:

  • Access the App and go to the section “Bookshelf” (button located at the bottom of your screen)
  • Download resources for offline use by clicking the download arrow  Icono Descripción generada automáticamente  in the lower right corner.
  • This icon    will let you know that the content is ready to be used offline.

 

Important: To browse the catalog and access content for the first time, as well as to download selected resources, internet connection is required.

 

3. Can I access a resource from more than one device?

Yes. It is possible to use up to 6 devices with the same account. These can be computers or mobile devices (if your Learning Ecosystem has the app download option).

 

4. How much content can I access simultaneously?

Generally, you can have up to 10 active resources simultaneously.

 

5. How long can I access the resource?

Generally, you have 21 days to access the resource. Once that time has passed, it will be returned automatically.

If you wish, you can renew it 3 days before the end of access, as a warning message will be activated in the notifications icon.

*You will have one day to consume magazines and may renew access.

 

6. Can I return the resources early?

Yes. Additionally, the resources are returned automatically when the access period ends, so it is not necessary to return the contents manually.

Important: If it is a resource downloaded in Adobe Digital Editions, it must be returned manually from Adobe Digital Editions from the computer.

 

7. Can I renew my loan?

Absolutely. The “Renew” option will be activated 3 days before the expiration date of your loan.

 

8. Are there late fees for returning resources?

Never! The content will be returned automatically after 21 days of access.

 

9. Can I print the e-book pages or print my bookmarks?

Due to copyright, there is no option to print ODILO content. However, you can always enjoy an offline version through the app.

 

10. What does the “Holds” option mean?

If when accessing a title you get the option “Holds”, means that all copies are lent by other users. You would have to click on the button and wait until the platform notifies you of its availability.

 

11. Is there content in other languages?

Yes. There are resources in various languages. To find them, you just have to access the catalog and filter by the language you want.

 

12. If I have a technical problem, where can I contact Support?

You can open the support chat (bottom left of the screen) to report the incident.

If you have problems with content, on its cover, you will find the option to report a problem.

 

13. How can I suggest a resource that does not appear in the catalog?

You can go to the User Area and then go to “Content suggestions” to add those resources that do not appear in the catalog (these suggestions must go through a review process before being accepted).

 

14. Where do I find the experiences I am participating in?

From your user area, clicking on “Learning Experiences”.

In this section, several carousels will appear:

  • Formal learning: It is about the training that your organization assigns you.
  • Discover: Available self-motivated Learning Experiences.
  • Self-Learning: These are the Learning Experiences you are currently participating in.

 

15. How do I download the certificate granted by a Learning Experience?

If the Learning Experience you completed grants a certification, go to the user area and select the option “Learning Experiences”, click “Certificates” and download the obtained certificate.

 

16. How do I download a resource to my e-reader or e-book?
