Type of roles
Within your Learning Ecosystem there are 3 types of users who have permission to manage a Learning Experience:
Moderator
✅ You can create Learning Experiences.
✅ You can edit and moderate your Learning Experiences.
✅ You can assign collaborators to your Learning Experiences.
❌ You cannot give moderator or administrator role permission to other users.
❌ You cannot edit Learning Experiences from other moderators.
You can watch the following video regarding the Moderator Role:
Collaborator
✅ You can edit and moderate a Learning Experience if you have been assigned as a collaborator of it.
❌ You cannot create new Learning Experiences.
❌ You cannot assign permissions of any kind to any user.
Administrator
✅ You can create Learning Experiences.
✅ You can edit and moderate all existing Learning Experiences, both, yours and those from other user creators.
✅ You can assign collaborators to your Learning Experiences.
✅ You can manage the roles and permissions of all users.
Important: The majority of platform users do not hold these three roles. End users can engage in learning and participate in experiences but lack the ability to edit or create them.
If you need to assign one of these roles, which involves managing experiences, you should reach out to the project manager at your institution.
