1. How much content can I borrow simultaneously?

This will depend on the lending policy established by your digital library.

 

2. Is there content in English?

You may find resources in various languages. To do this you just have to access the catalog and filter by the language you want.

 

3. As a moderator, where can I see the content that users consume?

As a moderator you can see user consumption in the tab “Statistics” from your Book Clubs. Here you will find the start date of consumption, the last date the resource was accessed, the time spent on that title and the consumption progress in percentage.

 

4. What does it mean when the word “Required” shows on top of a field?

Required” means that these fields must be filled out, otherwise the Library will not allow you to create the Book Club experience.

 

5. What does it mean for a resource to have “simultaneous use”?
Simultaneous use resources are those that allow all members to read the same resource at the same time. Instead of having limitations on the number of copies available, all participants can access the resource at once.

 

6. How can I add a resource to my Book Club and make it simultaneously accessible?

If your library manages resources with PPU (pay per use). Once you know which resources you would like to add to your Reading Club, confirm with the contact person at your institution so that they can give you the necessary instructions to add the chosen resource. Confirming the ISBN, the title of the resource, start and end date of the virtual reading club and the number of attendees you would like to participate, considering the expense per user that each loan will generate.
